I need an app that can:
Import RTF,
Do headers and footers, page numbering, all that basic stuff,
Import Illustrator art and single page .pdf without rasterizing it like other popular "Word processing" apps,
Not be priced like ID2 and Quark.

Hasn't someone made an app that plays nicely with vector images and has basic import and page layout abilities, yet isn't marketed at professionals?
