What's the deal with iLok in ProTools 6?

I got my ProTools 6.0 LE update a few weeks ago, and I was overjoyed to finally be able to do audio stuff in X. But now I have a question.

Whenever I start up, it asks me to authorize my plug-ins, the same plug-ins that came with PT, but I can't figure out how to authorize them. Was I supposed to get an iLok with my PT6 update, or am I just not finding how to authorize them?
