Whats the best program for hacking the dock and moving it to the lower left hand corner of the screen. There seemed to be a lot of them on version tracker, I would like to be safe and get a good one.
Thanks

Look for TinkerTool. It doesn't actually hack anything, it just does what the previous poster recommended you do - edit preference settings.

you need to edit ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist

with your dock already on the bottom, add:
Code:
<key>pinning</key> <string>start</string>
then either log out/in, or kill terminal from the dock, and it will reopen

also Check out ClearDock:

This removes the white see-thru background of the dock so it is completely clear. It is Freeware. Haven't tried it with Panther but some reviews on VT say they've used with 10.3 without any problems.

Clear Dock requires unsanity's APE in order to function, and APE can cause stability problems. I prefer Transparent Dock.

Never heard of transparent Dock but it sounds more solid than Clear Dock. I'm gonna check it out. Thanks!
