If one is going from a Mac to Mac connection, would it be better to use Timbuktu 7.0 over Apple Remote Desktop?

Are there advantages/disadvantages of each?

* the last time I tried ARD, there was some type of limitation with it for me to prevent from using it fulltime. But unfortunately, I don't remember what that was!
