I was thinking that it would be nice to be able to Control-Click on a word and see it's definition. It would also be nice to have a Thesaurus built in to that as well.

Anybody know if this exists already? And if it doesn't, someone get to work!

(By the way, anyone ever look up Microsoft on dictionary.com? Pretty funny.)

don't know about contextual menus, but have a look at two of the best freeware apps out there:

OmniDictionary
Nisus Thesaurus

While neither offers contextual menu support, both offer support through services and shortcut commands (highlight a word, hit command-= for OmniDictionary, command-< for Nisus Thesaurus

the auto-complete thing is nice, but it doesn't do anything in terms of telling you the definition of a word or giving you synonyms...
