hey I had iChat AV on my iBook and I tried to transfer it over to my iMac but that didn't work terribly well, and my iBook's battery is dead with no power adapter so I'm stuck on my iMac.

And iChat AV is now a pay download, did the beta already run out? Anyway I could really use iChat, I do have the installer disks anyone know a way for me to get it installed again? (Yes I know I shold have backed things up.)

Use Pacifist to extract stuff. You don't just need the iChat app, also InstantMessaging.framework and maybe some other stuff (VideoConferencing.framework or something?)

I'm sure people on the software forum would know in a second

Not really, the 2.0 BETA was free and if you want the final you can buy Panther or just iChat 2.0 on its own for $30.

{v2.3 Now Jesus free}
