Great piece of software, except it's a bit annoying how my news RSS feeds are buried in Extras|Notes|Pod2Go|News|Custom|actual document I was looking for. Is there a way to make Pod2Go put them at a lower level. I can see how this would be useful if you have loads of feeds, but I just have a couple of BBC ones and MacNN/MacRumours. Or, is there an alternative piece of software that does the same thing?

Good question. I'm a satisfied user of Pod2Go as well but I have a 2nd Gen iPod so I have all my news stored under Extras -> Contacts. You may want to get in contact with the guy that wrote Pod2Go to see if something could be added into a future version to have everything grouped under a 'Pod2Go' section and simply prefix news stories with *N (this is what it does on the pre-3rd gen iPods).

I had used Pod2Go to sync some driving directions to my iPod that weren't matching the directions I got from the web, so I sent Kevin (the programmer) some feedback via http://www.kainjow.com/pod2go/website/ about including an option to choose which mapping/directions service to use. He was quick to respond and very open to suggestions. Might be worth a try if it's that big of a deal to you.

Cheers - I went to the website and found his AIM address - had a chat to him about it. Very nice guy, and very trusting to put his AIM address on the net. Said he's look into it. Will certainly subscribe, esp if he implements my suggestion in next version!
