In Safari, seemingly randomly, I'll get a "Can't Connect to Server" message right after Command-clicking a link... the second the new tab is made, that sheet will show up. Then, I usually put my cursor in the address field, hit return, and it'll load the page.

Nothing life-threatening, but it's distressingly annoying. Any fixes?

Safari 1.1.1 on OS 10.3.2.

That happens to me whenever I try to load a page when offline. Even when I go back online, it'll just instantly show the "Could not connect" alert, as if it's not even trying to connect.

I have to quit and relaunch. It really is annoying. I'd like a fix, too.

Yep, I just experienced this AGAIN, and now it is getting old.

I have a very clean 10.3.2 system, I run Cocktail weekly, etc.

I am writing this response in Explorer! Go figure! I don't know what the hell is wrong.

iChat works, Mail works, etc, but NO Safari. The little progress spinners just keep spinning, with no page loading.

At first I thought it was my Airport Extreme, but the fact that other stuff works is puzzling. I quit Safari, dumped the cache, etc. What is going on?

Wierd!

I get it too, though generally with Command+Shift+Click. I also sometimes get "...not load any data for this location."
