So the beta version of iChat AV that those of us still using Jaguar "expires" at the end of the year. We can roll back to 1.0 and it will still work, right?

I won't be upgrading to Panther anytime soon, and since I'm definitely not coughing up the 30 bucks to continue using iChat AV I wanted to be sure this would work.

Thanks

Isn't there a "Revert to iChat 1.0" option in the iChat menu? I'm pretty sure Jaguar users' ability to use iChat won't end come 2004.

Apple computer came out of nowhere to say:
iChat AV is also available from the Apple Store for $29.95 (requires Mac OS X Jaguar 10.2.5 or later).
Did you PAY for it? If you don't have 10.3, it's no longer free...

The beta is free until it expires.

It's simple: After it expires, either revert to iChat 1.0, buy iChat AV, or upgrade to Panther.

I know it's not right but he/she could borrow a friend's copy and use that til they could afford to buy a "legal" copy.
