I have my own website and I want to show my .mac status(or aim) on my website so people know when to message me. Is there a program that does this?

a quick googling on "aim status" (try it sometime ) revealed this page:

however, it doesn't seem to recognize being signed in with iChat. anyone else care to step to the plate?

I did google it . I do have an example of what I mean look on the middle top right of this webpage http://www.plasmadesign.co.uk/home.htm . That is what i'm looking for.

that does look like a nice aqua-ish setup. since the source is not too revealing, why not just email the guy and ask directly? and post his answer here too

Hi,

I am the guy that owns PlasmaDesign.co.uk. The AIM status on my homepage is acheived using Konfabulator. There is a widget available for it called iChat Status. All it does is monitor your iChat status and upload a small GIF to your web server every time you change your status. All you need to do is display the GIF on your webpage. Piece of cake!
