ok is there a emulator i can use to play Battlefield 1942 on my g5?

please please please say yes


[edit] oh yeah i did searches....i just havent figured out if its possible or not

Virtual PC can emulate PC programs, but it doesn't work on G5s yet. Even if it did, it would likely be too slow to be playable.

Sorry, but in all likelihood you did. I'm not familiar with the game, but I'd bet that it will not run well enough to be playable even on a G5.

Virtual PC is several hundred dollars. Think about it: You will end up paying for your game + the cost of VPC + more RAM (I bet you don't have enough) and you will still get shitty performance. If you want to play PC games, get a PC. Seriously.

i kno WW2 online is on mac, there were rumors a year ago about 1942 coming to mac

it wont work in vpc lets face facts the thing doesnt emulate a 3d graphics card.
You'd have been better off spending that 39.99 on a second hand dreamcast and a real game like Ikaruga

Probably just a rumor to give a false sense of hope as the people who made BF1942 aren't going to release the source code. Without the source code, no port can happen.
