I like the personal tool bar feature in NC but hate the mail.

Is it possible to make NCommunicator 4.5 use Outlook Express?

You have internet settings in OS 8.5 which allows you to choose your Browser and Mail software. These are in the Apple menu by default. (At least they are on my Imac)

I have been working on this myself and have found that if you use netscape navigator not communicator that you will be able to set your default email as the client of your choice. In system 8.5 you will need to set those preferences in the internet control panel. If you are using something before that you will need to find the internet config helper file on your computer and set your preferences there.

Mut123 is correct. You need the standalone Netscape Navigator (4.08 is latest) to use OE for mail. (I do this myself). Communicator cannot use an external email client.
