Does it exist? I read mostly positive stuff on Adobe Homepublisher, but it discontinued and unavailable. Next up seemed to be Printshop Publishing Suite, which I read mostly positive info on. After that we seem to skip right up to PageMaker at $500, sorry I don't think so. Any other affordable choices I've missed?

Cheap desktop publishing may be found in the software called ColorIT. Version 4.0 has been released and is $50 for new users and $30 for an upgrade. http://www.microfrontier.com/products/colorit40/index.html

Hello!
Actually, ColorIt is an image editor, and a nice one too! For DTP on the cheap, try MacPublisher, available at many mail order sites for less than $20, or PrintShop Publishing suite, still in prouction at about $50.
