Nah! Don't worry... I "never" get rid of equipment. It's inevitable... you sell something, and 9-12 months later, you are in a situation where you could really USE the gear you got rid of.

I have a couple Presonus ACP-88 units, Roland SRV-3030 dedicated reverb, Sony DPS-V55 dual processor multi-effects unit (killer verbs), dbx DDP, Antares ATR-1, Aguilar DB-659 bass pre-amp (all tube)... a whole bunch of stuff I just don't want to part with.

Maybe some day, I'll patch that gear through my MOTU. Who knows...?

It FIGURES!

My G5 is scheduled to arrive tomorrow (Tuesday) the same day as MWSF... now being on the east-coast, the Keynote would not actually START until noon-ish... but NOW, Apple decides they are NOT gonna do a "live" Webcast of the Keynote... which means, I won't get to see all the goodness until later that afternoon... AFTER I get my new G5.

I have this scary paranoia that I am gonna get my G5 up-n-running and go to Apple's site just-in-time to see the next update/upgrade to the PowerMac line, making my 30-second-old "top of the line" machine, a few steps down the performance ladder.

I know, it's not founded in truth... but DAMN, the anticipation is killing me. Heheheh...

Tomorrow should be a fun day on both respects... new anouncements and new gear. Later.

I said there would be no "speed bump" and it looks as though that is the case.. However, I am surprised there was nothing in the Powerbook line...

anyway, looks like it's going to be some 6 months or more before we see 3.0Ghz G5
