Do you expect price drops for the PowerMac G5 after tomorrow, or do you think I can simply order one?
Thanks.

If it were me I would wait for the announcements first. Let's see what new products Apple has in mind. Usually you'll see the machine you expected to pay $xxxx.xx dollars, drops in price because a newer faster system is now getting top dollar.
A few days waiting won't hurt.

Since you're asking the question whether or not to wait, it sounds like you can afford to wait a few more days. There is little risk in waiting now that we're on the verge of the keynote. Unless there's some special buying opportunity about to expire, there's no reason not to wait. The worst possible outcome for you would be no change to the Power Mac line or price on Tuesday. I personally am not expecting anything new in G5 land on Tuesday, but there is always the possibility. If you were to buy now and find out the line is refreshed tomorrow, you're not going to be very pleased.

If you order it today and Apple lowers prices or updates the machines, they'll give you the difference or update your order to one of the new machines.

I agree that it never hurts to wait if you're close to a major convention like MacWorld. Although Apple may not announce new models, they almost always change prices or alter configurations in some way.
