Mine's in Vancouver right now. Unfortunately, I'm in Victoria. it should be here this afternoon or tomorrow. I would suggest you contact a local Apple reseller and ask them when they expect to recieve shipments. We have "Westworld Computers" here. They are the largest reseller in Western Canada. Not sure if they have a store in Vancouver.

Cheers

which I can get it 200 buck cheaper
so since you told me it is in vancouver
so it should be in the wholesale house

I ordered mine online via apple.ca in January. It was shipped from california on the 18th. I don't know when the ones ordered through other means will get to Vancouver. Sorry

From what I understand, AppleCare for laptops is a 3 year warranty good anywhere there is an apple reseller/apple store or anywhere you can get to a phone. It provides telephone and repair/replace support for 3 years. Normal support is only good for 1 year and the phone support last only 90 days I think. More info can be found on apple's website.

As for the expense...I can't answer that. There are much more knowledgable people on this board who probably can. I'm a switcher myself and a recent one at that.

I dont' believe any of the apple resellers here, have them yet. I'm on the list for one. THough i'm hoping the 15" Albook comes out soon.

I think applecare is worth it on a portable, if the LCD dies on yeah, it'll be worth it right there.
