I was at my Indy apple store today, and they have no 17" demo, let alone anything else. I want the backpack for the 17" which they didn't have either. The guy there said it was leather... is that true?

He also said that the 15" backpack by Brenthaven will also fit the 17" is that true as well?

The backpack is not made out of leather, but of ballistic grade nylon. It is very well made and durable! Well worth the money as for the 15" bag I would not think that it could fit the 17" powerbook, because I had the 15" shoulder bag and it fit the 15" like a glove. Hope this helps.

Brenthaven bags are the best in the world for the money; they're virtually indestructible. But they ARE designed for each laptop individually, so the bag for a 17 will not fit a 15, and vice versa.
