My 12" 867 PB, with Panther 10.3.2, is having a problem with the internal modem sometimes disconnecting randomly during a dial-up connection.

Problem is, the modem will try to disconnect from the internet, and seemed to fail to hang up completely. As a result, the word 'Disconnecting...' will be running continuously at the icon in the message bar, and will not stop, even if I log out or put the PB to sleep. The only way to get out of this was to reboot the PB. I have this hapening to me in the past with Jaguar 10.2.6 but now see the same with 10.3.2.

Any idea if there is something I can do to solve this odd behaviour?
