Luckily, I didn't lose it! A couple of weeks ago the end key on my PB12 just fell off. I had been using it without the key, but it just looked so bad.

Thanks to my wife's delicate touch, the key was successfully reattached yesterday. Seems the key has three connection points, and there is a trick to attaching it.

I've never seen any instructions on the web for reattaching keys to a powerbook, I did google search for it. I'm curious, has this ever happened to you?

Theoretically, the keys should just snap off and back on by pulling straight up on the key and pushing straight down on them... Luckily i haven't had to perform this procedure w/ my beloved yet, but i could always be wrong...

There's no special trick to reattaching the keys -- just place it where it goes and press down till all 4 corners have snapped in place.
