I would like to load a local iWeb site on my iPhone in my house. I do not want to store the web site externally (dropbox, dreamhost, etc.) or access it over the internet. Can anyone think of a way I can load the website on my iPhone or iPad without having another computer running and acting as a server? I'm displaying some local temperature data, and I don't want to make it accessible via the internet.

I wish there was an SD card dongle I could plug into my phone so I could open it from there, but Apple, in its infinite wisdom, has not enabled this feature. I wonder if another app has this ability?

I tried doing this on my ipad (I wanted to load a folder of html files for local browsing) but didn't really find a way. Via dropbox I could see a preview but they didn't interact like a web page should (images didn't load, links didn't work.)

I think ifile (cydia) includes a webserver that serves your whole root file system. Try putting some HTML files somewhere in the iphone

Why not use the same computer that ran iWeb (the Macintosh) to serve the content? You copy the files to "Public", turn on web sharing, and visit the Mac LAN ip from the iPhone.

He must have some super cool weather equipment directly hooked up to his iPhone or something to be able to achieve this all offline.
