Apple says that not all HD movies have 5.1 sound, but many (most?) do.

I've always been a rodent and rabbit hunter. Small varmints, if you will. I began when I was 15 or so and I have hunted those kinds of varmints since then. More than two times.

how does one check to see what the audio encoding is? on the itunes store, it doesn't seem to say anything about audio when you look at movie information.

I don't know about the iTunes store, but on the AppleTV movie descriptions, there's sometimes a little dolby symbol.

I've rented two HD movies and both played in 5.1.
