is non-existent now. I can't go a day or 2 without my battery completely depleting even under incredibly minimal usage. For example, I fully charged (overnight) my iphone 2 nights ago. Aprox. usage since then:

10 minute call
45 min of video
1.5 hrs of music

..And my phone is totally dead right now. I bought it a few days after the iphone debuted and I am severely unimpressed with its battery life. I would have expected it to last at least twice as long. Is anyone else running into this issue?

Since I purchased my iphone from AT&T, I didn't buy a warrantee plan for it. Doesn't every iphone though come with a free 1-year plan?

That's not normal and there is nothing we can do here. It's under warranty. Just take it in.

I just took it in today. I suspected they would take my iphone for a few days and just replace the battery. Nope..

They gave me a brand spankin new iphone! How awesome is that? I say 'fix it.' they say, 'here's a brand new iphone. we don't open iphones or ipods up. just sign this $0 receipt and you're good to go.' Simple as that.
