A little more information would be helpful. How are you trying to charge it-with your computer or with an AC adapter? Does it do anything when you try to turn it on, or just sit there? Was it showing any signs of an impending battery failure, like holding its charge for shorter and shorter lengths of time?

While it's impossible to know what's going on with it from the original post, just take it to an Apple Store, it's still under warranty.
