If you hold an iPod Touch, the screen is higher than wider.

Photos in Apple Stores only show up this way.

So most of the screen is black and not used, and the photos don't appear larger than on a regular iPod with a much smaller screen.

I wonder if you could turn the photo orientation that it would use the whole display.

The guy at the Apple Store said it couldn't be done, but I'm not so sure about it.

I seem to remember having seen a musician's band photos on an iPhone - you had to turn the phone to watch it.

Maybe it's just with the iPHone that you can change a photo's orientation.

But I would be surprised.

Huh?

The iPod touch works *exactly* the same way as the iPhone. It has an orientation sensor, as well.

Photos show horizontally and vertically, you have to turn it around and the sensor adjusts the screen image.

Now I know more than the guy at the Apple store
