Anybody have any insider scoop on AppleTV roadmap? I have read about widget patents, chat, etc.
Am curious to see if they will eventually offer a SDK as well?

Anybody who knows the roadmap would be crucified by Steve Jobs if they were to disclose that information on a public forum (or anywhere else).

So those who know, can't tell tell. You'll have to wait just like the rest of us mere mortals.
I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.
