Hi

I'm running an iphone on 1.1.4 and i don't seem to have a visual indication on the top bar (with the signal strength, operator, time and batt life) whenever i get new mail. My friend's iphone running on 1.0.2 has that though. Is it somethign they took away in 1.1.4 or is there something i'm missing here?

New mail is indicated by a red circle with the number of new messages in the upper right corner of the Mail application icon.

I don't ever remember it being indicated on top...is your friend running a hacked iPhone?

Yeah, sounds like he's running a jailbroken phone. The only indicator for email is on the email button itself. Nowhere else will you see an indicator on a non-jailbroken iphone.

Ok it seems that is a feature of this software from Installer called Taskbar Notifier. Thanks anyway!
