For some reason I can never use the search function properly, so here's probably a new (and old) thread.

My sister has just gotten a brand new macbook pro, and needs to move her tunes from her ipod to her new macbook as her old windows laptop is as much use as a chocolate teapot.

What is currently the best transfer tool nowadays?

I have met the same problem as you. I have downloaded and tried several software from internet, such as iMacsoft iPod to Mac Transfer, Joboshare iPod Rip for Mac and 3herosoft iPod to Computer Transfer for Mac. I feel iMacsoft iPod to Mac Transfer can solve your problem.
