All apps on my iPhone 3G are crashing instantly when launched except the original ones that it came with. It happened last night, I THEN installed the new update, same thing. I reinitialized it then synced it, same thing. Today after another attempt it worked, but when I updated the apps, it's doing it again. It also on a restart sat on the apple screen for about 20 mins before I force restarted it. Then the apps are crashing. WTF??

Suggestions? I really don't want to have to buy a new one yet!

You can try resetting the phone (search Apple support) or do a full backup and restore of your phone. If that doesn't fix it, you may have to take it to Apple. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of troubleshooting you can do yourself to fix a problem like this.

For some reason, post editing isn't working, so replace the above with this:

I did a restore last night, nothing. I'm now trying to delete all the apps and just add a couple to try to find the culprit. Bahh!
