Since December, my 3G 20 GB has been acting up and only working when it wants to. I finally broke down yesterday and bought a new color 20 GB. I'm not going to sell my old iPod as a working one (even though it does work quite a lot of the time) so should I just throw it away, or what are my options to get rid of this 3G iPod? Should I sell it for parts, etc.

part it out man. you can get a decent amount of cash for the thing. most people are willing to pay $50 just for the logic board. The hard drive?...I bet 100....screen? probably the same.

Ebay is your friend.
