hi, i am new to i pod, while get it for ~1 week, anyway i like it very much, esp. i can have my whole album for my car during driving via a cessette adapter.
i get 2 questions to ask:
1/ if i want to tranfer data file from a PC to i pod, do i need to install the i tune to that PC first, or i just need to plug it and transfer, just like other thumb USB drive?
2/ how can i delete some of photo/music files from a particular playlist or album in i pod, or i have to do it through a PC?

Intall Itunes first. That's why they give you that cd. My Ipod had to be formatted first when i buy it for my pc.
