Hi

I have a new iPod color 30 GB. Everytime my battery get empty, I lose my date and time settings ... Is this normal ?

Yes. The battery is THE battery; there's no backup for the clock. Just don't let the thing get so low that the battery is completely dead-it's not good for the battery anyway.
