Hello there all, I have just gotten my first PB, but have had my iPod for a while. It was used on a PC, and now I pluged it into my PB and now I can not see the songs on the pod, and also why does it take almost a min to bring iTunes up on my PB?

Did you:

Reformat for the iPod for Mac? If no, do so, and the following. If yes, then:
Did you move your library from the Windows machine to the Mac before plugging it in?

Don't know why it would take so long to open iTunes on your Powerbook. A minute? No idea.
Anyone have a guess?

Call 1-800-APL-CARE...
Bring it in to the store you bought it if they cannot fix it?
Go to apple.com / support / then discussions and ask there?
