I have a PowerBook and a 4G iPod, both synched with my music. It’s all good there.
My friend called me today and he bought an iPod Photo just before a trip to Italy to store his digital photos. Now he is back and when he plugged his iPod into his Wintel machine, it wanted to reformat his iPod and lose his photos. Since I have a Mac, he asked me to get his photos off his iPod and burn them to a DVD, then he can reformat it for Windoze. I don’t want him to get my music so I switched to “Manually manage songs and playlists”. Will there be any other issues when I plug his iPod Photo into my PowerBook? Does the iPod Photo have its own software I need to install first? I understand that moving photos is one way, from computer to iPod. I have to do this in a restaurant so I need to be prepared.
Any help please…Thanks
