Hello guys, could I use one of these generic USB wall chargers to charge my iPod mini?
Click image here to see image.
Would it cause any problems whatsoever? ie; burning my iPod's circuits or something?
Thanks!

Well, I have never seen this model, so I can't speak from experience.
Theoretically, it could fry your iPod, if it doesn't adhere to the USB specs.
It shouldn't, but you can never now for sure.

The USB standard calls for 5VDC for power over the connection with a tolerance of +/- .25VDC (4.75-5.25 VDC), which is fairly close, equating to +/- 5%. iPods are built according to the USB standard, so that whatever a USB source provides as power should be fine. Basically any USB-compliant charger should work.
Compliance is the key here; if it says it's a USB charger, does it have the USB logo? If not I wouldn't trust it, because the logo is only allowed on products that have been tested for compliance. Also, any manufacturer that goes to the trouble of ensuring their products are compliant is more likely to stand behind their products if there's a problem.

Well, technically it isn't "tested for compliance" since it doesn't have that USB fancy-schmancy logo or anything on it, just a small "ratings" sticker on it. And it's probably made cheaply in Taiwan or China or something.
I've only used it a couple of times to recharge my old Handspring Visor Prism handheld, but since I got rid of it, I haven't used the USB charger since.
And I don't intend to prematurely kill off my iPod mini in any way.
