So I was getting some serious skips and pauses with my 40G pod, so i decided to restore Factory Settings. Now I'm having issues copying songs onto it....It keeps locking up while copying, which in turns locks up iTunes, when I force quit, my finder goes to the wheel of death and I have to manually hard restart. Then i have to disconnect the pod, and reset that and connect again. Each time I try to copy songs this happens, it's driving me nuts. Anyone else have this problem? Someone told me it might be a Tiger issue, if that's the case, anyone know how to fix this?

try restoring factory settings again. be sure you are using the lattest ipod software updater dated 6-26-05 for now (a new one should be released soon)
