to set the scene, our iMac G4s file directory corrupted so we had to wipe everything

some files that i never backed up are still on my iPod from when i got them from a friend however when i copied them onto the HD i put them in the wastebasket, putting the files in the .trashes folder. I roughly know how this folder works as i manadged to acsess it a few times on the RM pcs at school with my old Shuffle but the new Mini wont work on PCs without formatting it so i cant get the files off with that, there still takeing up memory on the pod as the 2Gb are still beaing used up but i dont know how to get to them, does anyone know how i can get to the Trashes folder on X.3.9 or any outher way

thanks
