Withouth spending much money, how should i enjoy my ipod the best over my car stereo. A) Tape B) FM Transmitter (I have a cd fm transmitter and its fantastic) or C) Direct Line in (do not want to pay more than $50)? What is the best combo that possibly includes power (for recharching) that you guys would support?

From top to bottom:
Direct line in (if it's an option)
Cassette adapter (if it's an option and direct line in isn't)
FM transmitter only if the above two are not possible

I have tried a couple different FM transmitters and have never been happy with any of them.

I also have used a couple tape adapters, and while I get tired of having to adjust the volume, and hearing the whine of the tape player through the speakers, etc. it IS better than using an FM transmitter (at least in my experience).


Line in is the very best choice-- but hard to come by sometimes.
