im in long beach, ca. a student too. but its sold out everywhere in 4gb (black & white). can't find one anywhere.
reps say sometime next week. bummer

This is a surprise. I bought a white one this afternoon at the Santa Monica (3d Street Promenade) store. They had plenty of white ones ("Just don't ask me for black...," the surly clerk growled at me.) Mebbe they sold out in a quick rush. But mebbe give 'em a call tomorrow?

i'll do that. thanks for the heads up. pasadena is a bit far from long beach, but so are the rest. im headed that way anyways.
it was two seperate stoes, fashion island, and south coast, both clearly said 4gb is sould out all over so cal in both colors.

Not Pasadena -- the Santa Monica store, just up the 405 from Long Beach. I'd call first though, such heavy foot traffic all day. Maybe they'll hold one for you if in stock?

Only the 4gb Black is sold out in the Mission Viejo Store. They have all the others. And the armbands. No tubes yet.
