Anyone know how to do this? My ipod photo has the full version of a couple thousand pictures and i'd like to import them into iPhoto. Because of a hard disk failure, I need to restore them and the only place they are are on the ipod photo. I can open them and copy them in folders by the day taken, but can't figure out how to copy them by the album. Doing so would save me a lot of time. Any ideas?

Did you enable the photos to also be saved as full-resolution pics on your iPod?

If you did check the box to save the full resolution photos on the iPod, they should be accessible in a folder on the iPod, with no need to go through any particular program if needed.

They are saved as full resolution and can be accessed in folders by the date the photo was taken. I was hoping there was away to recreate the directories they are in on the ipod without having to do so manually.

Haven't tried this but if your iPhoto is working, sync your iPod and go to Preferences. See if there's an option to recover the photos.

Also, apple.com may have the exact steps to do this. As long as you have full resolution pics, you should be ok.
