Someone needs to make a fully functional mens wallet with a slot for the Nano and some headphones. That would make for one less thing for me to remember as I walk out the door. It would be the perfect accessory. Make it happen people!

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

umm... Why don't you do it? Sounds like a great idea. Get a design down, find some manufacturer's and have at it. You could make a little money.

The folks over at Arstechnica seem to have shown that sitting on the Nano really isn't that big of a deal The thing is practically indestructable.

Check it out

Need a long headphone cord to have it in the wallet. Plus, it'll be a bitch changing playlists.

That's the next trick. if we're sticking a Nano in there, we can probably get a bluetooth transmitter in as well. It has a small enough footprint.

Plug your nano in, and your wallet (and matching headphones) do the rest. The BT could run off of the iPod's battery.

Does anyone want to go into business here?

Yeah, I saw that wallet. It's not really a wallet so much as an iPod case with space for some other stuff. You would have to fold up your money and it would probably only hold a few cards.

I am creating a directory of all iPod accessories (currently over 400) organized by category over at Pod Mania. There is a separate iPod Nano page and already there are a lot of cases announced and many more coming. That said, I haven't seen what could be called a true wallet. i believe this is due to fragility, loss of access, cable connection to earbuds too long etc. A wallet for suit breast pocket might work.

BTW, Pod Mania is also available in print and on sale now at bookstores.
We will be needing reviewers of iPod accessories, if you have writing and reviewing experience - or know osmeone who does - please contact me at the web site.

Best,
Jim C
