so i'm importing my whole libary to my ipod, and when i plug my ipod into my HD itunes opens and starts importing correctly, however on specific .mp3 stoppes the importing process. i cannot tell which .mp3 will stop the process. anyone got any comments or ideas to help me?

How long have you waited for it while it was on the specific mp3?

well, i told my CPU to import them all before i went to school and when i came back i noticed that it froze around the 52 .mp3 so it was frozen for many hours.

it's a g5 duel 2.0 tower running 10.4.2. however, i do know now which specific .mp3 it stops on. So what i have to do is unplug my ipod and convert it to .mp3 format...although they all are already in MPEG format....i do not know why this works...but it does. Just takes a long time.
