Hi there, can anyone help me?

I bought an iPod last week (20GB Photo) and have been happily uploading music from iTunes to it until I realised that the files were HUGE 20-35MB! Having realised that the encoding (?) was set wrong I converted all the files that I had uploaded to Apple Lossless and they were fine (3-6MB).

Last night I tried to upload another CD and the files were huge again but all the settings were set to Apple Lossless and when I tried to convert the files they were the same size.

What am I doing wrong

First of all you are making it harder on yourself then it needs to be. If you just use Anapod Explorer to transfer your music, you can choose what type of files you want on your iPod. You can even have windows media files on your iPod. I highly suggest it and also, if you are looking for a program to make all of your current music mp3 files or ogg files (closer to lossless then mp3) then follow this link:
