This thing looks cool.
I wonder if you can use it with an apple since the software is PC only. But maybe that's just for the iTunes Music Store thing that Sony offers (with whatever name they gave it - Connect or something)
Do you think you can use this with an apple computer somehow?
It plays mp3... does that mean songs downloaded from the apple store won't play?
USB brought us so close together, but now with these new digital players it seems everyone is trying to again have their own thing and that stinks for the consumer.

I don't know if the link will work, but I'll give it a show.

I kind of like the look. I wouldn't buy one, but it's probably the best looking non-iPod player IMO.
It costs more than the shuffle. iTMS songs won't work on it.

Eeeeeeeew.
They say it "plays back" MP3, AC3, and stuff from their own ***tty music store. It "supports" WMA and WAV (their wording is suspicious). Doesn't mention AAC and obviously can't play iTMS files. Depending on how songs are transfered to the device, it could work with a Mac. If it requires their "Connect" (barf!) software though, you'd be out of luck.

I'm not sure the queer would take this MP3 player if it was for free. They mostly have iPods. I think the Bean looks like its name. A big jelly bean. I don't think it will work with ITMS because Apple uses MP4a rather than MP3 for its songs.

Boring. Furthermore, how many music players does sony make? I mean, they can't make one decent one, and there are so many I find it confusing. Apple can get away with more versions, with the popularity, but maybe Sony should focus on one key product.
