hi,

I am thinking of buying a new IPod nano but before i would like to clarify one thing.

Is IPod nano able to store any types of files, like a pendrive or flash drive ?

i will buy it if it is possible,thanks

Yes. It can be used just like a USB flash drive.

Specifically, when the iPod is plugged in you go to the iPod's preferences in iTunes and choose "enable disk use." From then on, you have to 'eject' it like most other removable storage (in Windows, it's the Safely Remove Hardware thing in the system tray; in OS X, you just eject the disk image on the desktop); however, you can also move it to and from other computers with whatever data you happen to have on it. Just remember to bring along your Dock-Connector-to-USB cable.
