I'm new to the whole iPod thingy. I have a Nano and I hear it can hold pictures. I can't figure out how to transfer photos onto it and I was wondering if I need some other accesory or program.

You do this (somewhat counterintuitively) using iTunes.
I do not like those green links and spam.

It also depends on whether you have a Mac or PC. On the Mac, it will work through iPhoto (although the setting itself is done through iTunes). Or you can also use just a folder full of pictures that you specify. On the PC, I think it only works with a specified folder.

With the iPod nano, you also have to limit the amount of songs since otherwise there isn't any space left for photo's. Took me a sec to realise what went wrong the first time.
Then again, I was just curious how it went, and how it looks on an iPod, but the screen really is very small for looking at pictures, so you better give that precious space to songs instead.

Anyway, with an Mac you do the settings in iTunes, as sad by above.
