i bought three songs the other day. I put them on my ipod and tried to play them but they would just shuffle through to the end, they wouldnt play. at first I thought my ipod had some troule reading my password but i burned the songs to a CD and tryed to put them on my ipod from there. But when i dragged them in a window popped up saying that it didn't copy the songs in because the ipod couldnt play them. I currently have a 20G color ipod why cant i play the songs?

Where did you buy your songs from, and is the iPod linked to that account?

Is this the first time you've bought music from iTunes?

Well, if other songs from the iTMS play OK, then maybe you have a corrupt download. You can contact support at the iTMS and they'll probably let you redownload them.

Since I upgraded to iTunes 6 I have had the exact same problem. The songs I have bought from the ITMS since iTunes 6 was released will not play on my iPod. It just goes from song to song to song, right through the playlist.

Sorry, I cannot help solve your problem, but you are not alone in this problem.
