Hi, I have a PowerMac G4 1.25mhz with 1.25gig ram memory. I am running the latest version of Tiger and iTunes. My iPod is a 10 gig 3rd generation iPod. I am having problems.

First, when I connect the iPod to the computer, it shows up under Firewire under "This Computer", but not always in iTunes. In iTunes, it tells me that no ipod is connected. Sometimes I see the iPod icon on my desktop, sometimes I don't. I downloaded the latest iPod updated (Sept 05) and it says that it is initializing the update, but then I get a wierd error code "MAC OS Error code - 36". At this point iTunes and the updater freeze and I have to force quit them.

From what I can tell error code 36 has to do with a windows issue...I don't use windows, and have never connected my ipod to a windows machine.

Any suggestions here? I have had to reset my ipod many times.

Thanks,

Tom
Tom
