The ear buds to my near new ipod (bought it bout 2 1/2 months ago) are acting up. The right bud makes a scratching staticy sound when I have my ipod playing about 2/3+ full volume. I ordered it online and was wondering if you guys would suggest going to local mac store (bou an hour drive) or call online to get this problem resolved? Just thought id ask before calling or anytinhg to see if you guys have had similar problems. Thanks

See if you can take it to the nearest Apple Store and explain your problem. Heck, they probably have some ipod earbuds hanging around in the back somewhere and may just replace them for you on the spots. By the way, the apple earbuds are basically crap anyway. Invest in some good "phones" to get the best sound out of your pod

Thanks, just wanted to make sure I woudlnt get one of those "we cant help you since you bought it online" speaches. I got better headphones I just like the portability of the stock buds that I can just shove in my pocket and not worry about at work or on trips. May as well get em replaced instead of wasting another 20 bucks, heh
