I have a 4G ipod 40 gig & a mac mini, running Tiger. From the beginning, I have had it set to auto sync. When I would drop it in to the cradle, the ipod would auto-sync with the mini & then disconnect itself from itunes. It wouls till charge, but when I was ready to go, I could just grab the ipod & go.
Recently, it stopped auot-disconnecting. I now need to turn on my TV (which is my monitor) and manually disconnect the ipod. It's not a huge deal, but when I"m in a hurry, it sure is a PITA. The only thing I can think of that is different is that I just installed 10.4.3 ( was running 10.4.2 before that) I also installed the newest version of itunes, but I did that a week or so ago. As far as I can tell this problem has only recently started. Any ideas? I've checked my settings in itunes & nothing appears any different than before.
