We have a problem recovering some voice memos from a 20Gb iPod.
Could you please help?
Tried to get memos back via iTunes which did not work (see problem #2), so we tried dowloading them via from the iPod visible as a disk in Windows Explorer - we were able to transfer some, but had problems with 3 or 4 of the memos (see problem #1).
#1) When copying files via Windows explorer, the CRC error shows up and the files won't copy. [Also, when listening to them on iPod these memos stop half-way]. Is there a way to recover these files?
#2) iTunes synchronisation did not work - the memos were on the iPod, but when synching the iPod won't even show voice memos directory.
Looks like we can get files even w/o iTunes, so the most important part is to solve the CRC error problem.
